Project | Little Mare

Little Mare is a custom nursery design project created for a returning client as they welcomed their first child into their beautiful home. Inspired by the mother’s equestrian roots, the space was thoughtfully designed to feel soft, timeless, and deeply personal. Whitney Ford Design blended warm blush tones, elegant furnishings, floral textures, and subtle horse-inspired details to create a nursery filled with grace, comfort, and meaning for this exciting new chapter.

Scope
Full nursery design and furnishing including spatial planning, furniture sourcing, styling, and final installation. Custom details included equestrian-inspired décor, layered textiles, floral wallcovering, window treatments, lighting, and thoughtfully selected furnishings that balanced beauty with everyday function. The finished space was designed as a warm, welcoming retreat for both baby and parents.
